Scoundrel

Skirmish, Evade, Astound

Description

There are those that believe if you are going to do something it should be done with style. This is the primary motto of the Scoundrel.

Scoundrels are unusual amongst the Rogue classes for actively seeking the notice of others. Scoundrels are big fans or attention, whether it is the awe of admirers or frustration of their foes. To this end they perform many outrageous and down-right risky stunts even in the most heated of combat.

Striking a balance between risk and reward is important for the long term survival of a Scoundrel. While impressing others is a reward in and of itself, it's preferable to not leave a corpse even if it would be a pretty one.

Slick Strike

Hitting an Enemy with a Melee Attack allows you to make a Free Half Move.

A Scoundrel may select one of the following weapons:

Rapier M P 1D4 + STR Riposte, AP(2)
Saber M S 1D6 + STR None
Nunchaku M B 1D4 + STR Concussive

And may select one of the following weapons:

Pistol R 1D4 Damage Range(0,12), Reload(1/2), Loud
Whip M S 1D4 + STR Painful
Throwing Knives M,T P 1D4 Range(1, 3 + STR), Silent

A Scoundrel may select one of the following types of armor:

Very Light
Light

Abilities

Audacious Action

You may reroll your next attack test after a successful Acrobatics or Persuasion Test.

Deft Reload

When you activate your Slick Strike Class Feature you may reload a ranged weapon instead of taking the Free Move.

Covering Fire

If a ranged attack you make hits an enemy that is engaged with an ally or Allies you may select one ally to make a 3u Free Move Action.

That's the best you got?

When you take damage, you may take a Persuasion Test at DN (10 + damage taken) as a Reaction. If you succeed, you may add your Presence to the damage of your next attack against the enemy that damaged you. Only one enemy may be the target of this ability at once.

Devil May Care Attitude

You may reroll failed Mind Save Tests while engaged with an enemy.

Combat Romantic

Special Action (1/2): You say something flirtatious to shock an enemy. Select an enemy in engagement range. It takes a Charm MSvs your Presence. If the target fails, they count as having 0 guard for the next attack you make against them.
