Actions

During a character’s turn of combat they may perform Actions to achieve their goals. Each action has its own Timing that tells how much of your turn the action will use. Certain talents, spells, and abilities will change one type of action to another.

Some class abilities will give you additional actions that your character may perform. Note them on your character sheet for quick reference.

Full Action

Use your entire turn to perform one complex action.

Example: Cast a powerful spell or Sprint


Half Action

Use half your turn to perform an action that requires an amount of effort.

Example: Moving your speed. Attacking with a weapon.


Quarter Action

Use one-fourth of your turn to perform a minor but focused action.


Quick Reaction

An action that can be performed during another action. Certain class features and abilities may let you use actions as a Quick Action.


Free Action

Free Actions are a special type of action that do not use part of your turn, but have to earned by completing prerequisites. Free Action do not trigger reactions.


Attack Actions

Name Timing Description
Strike 1/2 Make an Attack against a target within your Readied Weapon's range.
Trip 1/2 Attempt to knock the target prone.
Charge 1 Move up to twice your speed in a straight line and make a single Strike against a Target.


Movement Actions

Name Timing Description
Move 1/2 Move your character up to your speed.
Half-Move 1/4 Move your character up to a half of your speed
Full Move 1/2 Move up to twice your speed.
Stealth Actions
Stealthy Move 1/2 Move your character up to a half of your speed without breaking stealth.
Stealthy Half-Move 1/4 Move your character up to a quarter of your speed without breaking stealth.
Stealthy Full Move 1 Move your character up to your speed without breaking stealth.
Situational Actions
Stand Up 1/2 Get up from being prone.


Situational Actions

Name Timing Description
Disengage 1/2 Prevents Reactions from being used for the rest of your turn.
Extinguish 1/2 or 1 Reduce the X value of your Burning Condition by one for the Half Action or two for the Full Action


Reactions

Name Timing Description
Opportunity Attack R Make an Attack against a target that moves within your Readied Weapons range.
Snap Shot R Make a Ranged Attack against a target moving in range of your Readied Range Weapon. You do not add your mastery to the roll for this attack.
