Kits

Kits are a combination of items usually in a convenient way to carry. These are often items that are of little consequence to track and add a spice to a character. Using one in an appropriate situation may give a you a bonus to a Test.

Cook's Kit

A collection of utensils and spices collected on an apron.

Cartographer's Set

A set of papers, pens, inks, and rulers all within a wooden box that is great to write on.

Thieves Tool

Various lockpicks, glass cutters, prybars, and wire kept in an unassuming leather bag.

Calligraphy Set.

A leather case that holds vellum, pens, inks, and sealing wax for creating sealed messages.

Herbalist Kit

A bag with pouches and a small set of clippers to collect various plants. Also contains paper and a weight to press samples.

Miner's Satchel

A cloth bag with loops for a shovel and a pick with materials to maintain them.

Make Up Kit

A set of cosmetics and brushes used to create striking looks.

Doctor's Satchel

A bag of medical tools, bandages, and salves that aid in medical pursuits.

Potions: Brews, Tinctures, and Tonics

Potions are vials of liquid medicine that give various benefits. While potion is the general name, but there is some variance in the the kinds of potions you might find. The main types are Brews, Tinctures, and Tonics.

Brews are the basic form of potions. They are often created by herbalists and hedge witches who boil various herbs together to make something useful. Plentiful, but often terribly bitter.

Tinctures are the more refined version of a brew. These are created under more exact recipes that bring out more of the power from the component materials. Most often created in workhouses by trained staff. More effective, but more expensive.

A Tonic is the strongest form of potion created by artisans and scholars. Their recipes are well guarded secrets passed down to only the most worthy. Finding one is often a hard choice between using its powerful effects and the raw monetary value it's worth.

Draughts are a type of potion that are not as effective but tend to last longer than the other types.
