Exploration
The world is vast and full of wonders for those with the resolve to seek them.
Parties can travel through the world when they wish. Parties travel at a rate of one Map Unit (1mu) per hour under normal circumstances but how and where you travel will have an effect on this speed.

Food
Traveling long distances requires preparations. Each person traveling consumes one unit of food per day under normal circumstances.
Food can be found in the wilderness for those who know where to find it. A Survival Test can be used to search by hunting and foraging. Only one Test may be made per Character in a given area per day. The Difficulty Number of the Test can be modified by how bountiful the local area is. One unit of Food is gathered ror passing the Test and for every third point over the DN the result was.
| Food Density | DN Adjustment |
| Abundant | -9 |
| Plentiful | -6 |
| Verdant | -3 |
| Natural | 0 |
| Fallow | 3 |
| Scarce | 6 |
| Barren | 9 |
Sometimes rationing becomes required to make food last until your destination is reach. Characters may elect to half rations as they see fit, but dont heal naturally or remove fatigue until a full meal is eaten or the Malnourished condition is removed.
Discoveries
The world is littered with relics pointing to lost civilizations or long lost treasures. Charcters have a chance to find such things while exploring the wilderness. While the frequency and nature of such finds are up to the discretion of the Game Master, Players should ask occasionaly if they could search for them.
