Character Improvements
As with us in the real world, your character will continue to grow in new ways as they interact with the world. In Seeker's Zeal this is called Experience.
Experience, often shortened to XP or EXP, is an abstract representation of what your character’s progress which is earned by doing things like surviving combat, progressing the story, solving puzzles, being creative, or any other act that the GM deems worthy. You may spend hard earned experience on Improvements for your character.
Improvements are just what they sound like, things that your character accomplishes to make them better. Acquiring an Improvement often requires a Character to spend time contemplating or practing towards this new facet of themselves. As such, you will often be limited to buying improvements when your chracter is resting or taking similar downtime.
