Orcs
"A blurb about the topic in question"
Many Clans of Orcs pepper the world. They live in many inhospitable climates due to the strength of their body and their wills.
The Orcish physique is naturally muscled. So much so that most members of their species will look equally strong, but there are subtle differences. Orcs have an easy time making these distinctions.
Orcs stand between 5’8” to 6”10, live for about eighty years, and possess well muscled, angular forms that give them a predatory stance. While roughly a third of the Orcish Species is naturally bald, those that are not typically have black or silver streaked hair.
Description
A short Description on the species.
Orcish naming conventions follow a simple set of rules. “O” sounds are masculine, “A” sounds are feminine, and “E” sounds are neutral. This doesn't exclude a male from having a name where "A" is the first vowel. It's simply unconventional. Most Orcs will simply point out that a name is masculine for a female and vice versa before moving on.
The letter “Z” is considered a mark of good fortune so it it very common in Orcish names.

Subspecies
Orcs of Omen
Orcs have a unique form of Albinism that causes their skin to become a rusty or blood red color and their eyes to be completely black. These Orcs are often seen as Omens of change by their people, whether for good or ill. Other Orcs treat them with equal parts respect and suspicion as a result.
Factions
Nomadic Orcs
Orc tribes that travel between ancestral lands during different seasons.
Raider Orcs
Orc tribes that scour the world of what they see as perfidious people after a grand betrayal.
Fortress Orcs
The Orc clans who turned their ancestral lands into fortifications during the Age of Obliteration. Isolationists who prefer to be left to their own devices.
History
Age of Dicovery
Not much is know about the origin of the Orcs in a historical context. The first known record of was during the early age of human expansion when explorers happened upon a nomadic tribe. Orcish oral traditions speak of a land situated deep in the ravines where the first Orcs forged their bodies to survive the world around them.
Culture
Orcish society is rather straightforward in relation to the Orcish Mindset. The stronger and smarter rule everyone else. Orcs are naturally strong creatures with only the Ogre beating them consistently. But where the Ogres possess… a casual disregard for education, the Orc have an instinctive cunning that can make them a serious threat to a well equipped force.
Strength naturally plays into their societal structure. To put it bluntly, if you can beat someone up in a fair fight, they have to do what you say. This extends to most facets of Orcish life. Any civil disagreement, property dispute, and most marriage proposals are settled by ceremonial fist fights. There are a few catches to this system though.
First, you can’t challenge members of other species to this because they would obviously lose. Members of other races are allowed to challenge Orc this way, though. Secondly, no fighting anyone considered a child by their species. Fighting a child is seen as cowardly. On the same token, children aren’t able to make any challenges either.
Orcish females are typically stronger than males due to this societal structure. Female Orcs that come of age are bombarded by marriage requests from hormonal males to the point where fighting them becomes a form of training routine. Mothers will teach their daughters secrets they have learned to give them an advantage over their suitors. This tradition gives the Orcish female the choice to pick her own suitor or find one who is “worth losing to.” The flip side of this is that it causes a partially intellectual martial arts arm race amongst the males to prove their worth as a mate.
Despite the previous section, not all Orc romance is based on fist fights. Orcish courtship is kept refreshingly simple. One party will approach the other and state they are attracted to them, the other will reply positively or negatively.
Orcish family's have flexible structures due to the potentially polyamorous nature of Orcs. One member will take the position of the families head and the others will arrange themselves how they see fit with an emphasis on who has been in the family unit longer.
Legendary Figures
Drozok
Drozok was a Orcish Warrior known for his strength, cunning, and suprisingly his kindness. Many tales and biography paint him as a steadfast ally who you just wanted around. He willingly strode forth into many battlefield during the Age of Anihilation. Drozok made major difference on every front.
Sadly, the legacy of Drozok has been marred by the events of the Grand Betrayal, which cause the rise of the raider orc tribes.
