History
Age of Discovery
The Canidine originate in the boreal forests around the Molgdar Mountain range. The original Canidine were all Lupine in nature, but more breeds have appeared as time marches on.
Culture
Canidine travel in fluid groups known as packs. Members will often leave one pack to join another that may lead them closer to their goals. There is no hurt feeling when this happens unless the individual Canidine promised to stay.
Canidine are well known for their loyalty to those they feel have earned it. Earning the trust of a Canidine is seen as gaining a lifelong friend. Distance and time does not cause tarnish these feelings. Only actions that they find abhorrent can ruin them.
Legendary Figures
Pertra, Defender of the Mulland
A simple guard who held a gate single-handed against a vampiric host. She struck down several dozen of the vampire's lackeys as the last member of her squad. When asked, her reason for fighting so hard was so that her squadmates could get proper funerals.
