Ranger
Seek, Mark, Strike
Description
In the wilds that surround civilization, there are those who make a lonely living keeping dangerous creatures in check. These people are known as Rangers.
Rangers prowl the places where your average person wouldn't go with an armed escort, surviving a hand's breadth from a painful death.
While you may not be able to contribute in many social situations due to your long periods of isolation, you have access to other skills that will help your more glib companions to where they need to be.
Play a Ranger if:
- You want to attack from range before closing for a killing blow.
- You wish to guide your allies through dangerous environments.
- You want to show dangerous characters who the true apex is.
Class Feature
Harrying Shot
"Your shots are designed to weaken your prey for a finishing strike.""
When you make a Ranged Weapon Attack against an enemy, you may declare it to be a Harrying Shot. If the Shot hits the target, they are Slowed for one round and marked by you. You may only mark one enemy this way at a time. Using a Harrying Shot gives you three Exertion.
If you hit an enemy that is marked with a Melee Weapon attack, you deal additional damage equal to your Dexterity.
